We open at 7am and welcome children with the option to have breakfast with their friends and enjoy many play opportunities which have been set up for them to play and have fun before leaving for school either on one of our five fun buses or on foot for our walking schools. (The same applies at the afterschool clubs.)

A light tea and drinks are provided for the children which includes snacks such as pizza, wraps, beans or spaghetti on toast etc. These are all accompanied by a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Children at our afterschool clubs also get the chance to join in exciting planned activities each evening these may include parties & discos, baking, fun science experiments, arts & crafts projects, sports, growing & nature activities plus many more. Our afterschool clubs close at 6pm.

OUR AMAZING HOLIDAY CLUBS Open from 7:30am until 6pm and have full day session or school day session to choose from.  Children will be able to socialise and make new friends, freely choose to play with the many toys and resources we have indoor and outdoor and also take part in daily cookery, craft activities, science experiments, sports program and planned activities onsite.  We also offer optional low-cost outings for children to experience which are advertised on our newsletter for each holiday club.

We welcome any children 3-14 years old, from any catchment area. Your child does not have to attend a local school. Our venues are located at St Edmund’s Church Hall in Allestree which is situated off the A38 for children aged 3 – 6 years old. Our venue for children 7 years and older is located at Kilburn Baptist Church in Kilburn. This venue is 10 minutes drive from Allestree.

We offer a free bus service to and from the Kilburn setting using our own buses and driven by our team of playworkers. This is a popular service used by parents who have children at both our settings giving them just one drop off and collection point or by parents who work closer to Allestree. Children who are 7 years and older can be dropped off at 7:30am at St Edmund’s Church Hall site and then be taken to the Kilburn venue at 8:30am. We then provide a return service for children to be brought back at 5:30pm. Children using the bus service can be be collected from the St Edmund’s Church Hall from 5:30-6pm.

Our settings are designed for each of the two age groups. St Edmund’s in Allestree is designed for the younger children. All the play opportunities and activities are designed for children who are 3-6years old. Our Kilburn venue is geared towards the older children. It has more challenging activities, toys and resources which suit their age range and interest. Both settings follow a varied program of activities that visit the local park daily to do sports and games.
